David Folk, Director

David is a co-founder and Managing General Partner of Jefferson Partners. He has more than two decades of investment experience. David has served on the boards of numerous private and public companies. He has been instrumental in the success of Jefferson portfolio companies including Quack.com (acquired by AOL), iStar (IPO, acquired by PSINET), Wescam (IPO, acquired by L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL)), and Applied Terravision (acquired by CGI).

Passionate about social change, David also co-founded and is Chair of eMagine, a national philanthropic initiative that aims to raise $1 billion in commitments from the entrepreneurial and investment community over the next decade. He is also a Director and Chair of the Membership Committee of the Canadian Venture Capital Association, and past Chair of the National Board of Kids Help Foundation and Kids Help Phone, Canada’s leading children’s charity.

 

Ken Gardner, Director

Ken Gardner is a software industry veteran with more than 30 years in the enterprise software industry. He was the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Istante Software (originally Iteration Software) which was sold to Oracle Corporation in December, 2004. Prior to founding Istante, Ken co–founded Sagent, a business intelligence software company, in June 1995, and served as the company's President and CEO through the company's 1999 IPO on NASDAQ.  Prior to Sagent, Ken was Vice President of Products at Borland International from March 1994 to March 1995. Previously, he was President, CEO, and a Founder of ReportSmith, Inc., from February, 1992 until the company was purchased by Borland in 1994. From 1988 to 1991, Ken was President, CEO and Founder of Viewpoint Systems. From 1985 to 1988 he was the Vice President of Technology at Tesseract. From 1978 to 1985 he held various research and development positions at Tymshare. He has been a Board member at each of his own startups and has served as a Board member at Commerce One, Kabira, DataSage, and The Application Group. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Everdream Corporation. Ken is a 1972 graduate of the University of Louisville and holds a BS degree in Finance.

 

Ian Locke, Director

Ian Locke is a General Partner with Jefferson Partners. He has more than 15 years of experience in the high technology industry, including international sales and marketing expertise. Prior to joining Jefferson, Ian was based in Silicon Valley in senior management positions with Netscape Corporation. In December 1999, Ian was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of The docSpace Company which was sold to Critical Path (NASDAQ:CPTH) for $568 million in the spring of 2000. Ian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. He currently also serves on the boards of Avotus Corporation and the Rotman School Advancement board.

 

Jeff Webber, Director

Jeff Webber is the Managing Director of The Entrepreneurs' Funds, a venture portfolio focused on high-growth enterprise software providers. During Jeff's career as a consultant and investor in Silicon Valley, he has made early investments in private companies such as CommerceOne, Sagent Technology, Persistence Software, and enCommerce, and served on more than 20 public boards including Sagent, Sybase, CommerceOne, and AvantGo. In addition to Accept Software, Jeff’s current portfolio includes Attensity Corporation, Webify, and BorderWare. His current investment activities focus the combination of business model and technology that position companies for explosive growth in the aftermath of the technology market correction. Jeff holds a BA from Yale University.

 

Bryan Plug, President and CEO

Bryan Plug is a seasoned executive with extensive executive leadership experience in the information technology industry. He has a proven track record of establishing crisp vision and creating innovative solutions that deliver significant strategic business value to customers. He has served as President and CEO of several successful companies including Kintana, which was acquired by Mercury Interactive. Prior to Kintana, Bryan served as CEO of SMART Technologies, which was acquired by I2 Technologies. Bryan also spent several years at SAP where he was president of SAP Canada and executive vice president of SAP Americas. Bryan also serves (and has served) as a director of several public and private companies including his serving as a member of the Accept Software Board of Directors.

 

Yonatan Goraly, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder

Yonatan Goraly has managed complex software projects for the past 20 years, in the areas of business application analysis, J2EE application development, and rich user interfaces. Before co-founding Accept Software, Yonatan was the co-founder, Engineering Director and Chief Scientist at Diligent Software Systems, a leading eSourcing vendor that was acquired by B2E Markets. Yonatan holds a BS with Honors from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
